Y'all, it's JUNE!
& do you know what that means?
It's officially summer for the rest of the world. It's been summer in Columbia for awhile because you know, when you hit 95 degrees in April... you can't exactly consider that to be "spring". So, hey! Welcome to summer!
Planning: the wedding.
It's time to buckle down and get things checked off our list because y'all, we're 58 days out from the wedding! This week alone we've semi-finalized the wedding food & drinks, the invitations have been printed & are being addressed as we speak, and we had our first pre-marital counseling session last night. Whew.
Reading: Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows.
I've read the whole series dozens and dozens of times but seriously, it never gets old. I knocked out the first six books of the series again during April/May and I'm getting into the heart of the 7th book now. I'll get this one finished in plenty of time for the release of Harry Potter & the Cursed Child on July 31. Anyone else excited to get their hands on that?
I'm just counting down the hours until I can head up to Charlotte, scoop up three of my bridesmaids, and get to Asheville for a three day weekend of awesome. My bags are packed & I am ready to GO!
Obsessing Over: Parker & the Panthers.
I had SO much fun on Tuesday living vicariously through our friend Parker. Parker is seven years old and has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. The Make-A-Wish Foundation granted his wish of being a Carolina Panther football player this week and it was unbelievably cool to watch his day via the Panthers snapchat, to see them post on Instagram and Twitter about his day, and to see him on ESPN {!!!}
I know how much fun I had just watching Parker's day... I can only imagine how amazing and unforgettable it was for him to live it.

Buying: all things J Crew. And blinds.
It happens every single time. Whenever J Crew Factory is having one of their 50% off + free shipping sales... it doesn't end well for my bank account. But don't worry - that wasn't the only Memorial Day Sale that I hit up this past weekend. Patrick & I went to Lowes and bought a house full of blinds for 40% off and were way more excited about that than we should be.

Anticipating: getting our house ready to move into!
I'm not going to lie - I thought this whole "paint the entire house" thing would take no time at all. And it seemed like a great idea to do all of the painting prior to moving in so we could move around easily in an empty house. A lot has been completed {thanks, Dad!} but we still have a ways to go before it's ready for anyone to move into. I am so ready to live in this house already!

Linking up with Kristen & Gretchen.

If there is anything that I've learned in this whole wedding planning process, it's that I'm really indecisive. Incredibl...
