10 Things I Need in My Closet

The days are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer, and I'm ready to ditch the winter clothes for fun new things to wear this spring.

I was on a huge shopping mission last summer/early fall when I transitioned out of a job where I wore jeans & a company t-shirt every single day {confession: I miss being able to wear that every single day to work like you wouldn't believe} and had to upgrade the working wardrobe. Now? I've got plenty of things to wear to work but not so much in terms of playing outside of work.

Here are a few of the things that I really, really want to find in my closet {& life in general} sometime soon:

1. Anthropologie Dress

This looks like the perfect summer dress to have on hand & that's really the only reason I want it ;)

2. Monogram Necklace
Ok, this one really has nothing to do with spring or warm weather BUT I've had my eye on a monogrammed necklace for quite some time and I definitely need one with my new monogram this summer!

3. JCrew Factory Chambray Tank

I love chambray & I love sleeveless tops. Easy enough.

4. JCrew Factory Chino Shorts

I probably already have 10 pairs of these shorts, but you can never have enough. They are hands down my favorite pair ever and I will be so sad if they ever discontinue these.

5. JCrew Factory Lilac Gingham Shirt
Anyone else noticing the JCrew Factory trend here? But this is the perfect pastel, light shirt to wear with a pair of shorts when it's not super hot out.

6. Swoozie's Floppy Beach Hat

This one is a necessity for our honeymoon this summer. New beach hat + new monogram? Yes, please.

7. Toms Wedges

Y'all, I am all about the "if the shoe fits, buy it in every color" shopping strategy. Once I find something I like {see the shorts above} I want it every color. I have these wedges in black and LOVE them. I can't wait for it to be warm enough to wear them around again!

8. JCrew Factory White Eyelet Cover Up

Ok, ok, I'll admit it. I love shopping at JCrew Factory. But this cover up is absolutely necessary to take somewhere tropical this summer!

9. Essie Lounge Lover Nail Polish

This color screams spring to you too, right? Right.

10. Lilly Shorts

These shorts are too cute to pass up & might help me branch out a little from my current favorite pair of shorts.
