Sundays at the Rat Cave

Spending a Sunday afternoon at the Rat Cave doesn't sound like a super fun way to spend your day...

...unless it's the Rat Cave at River Rat Brewery in Columbia.

I've had this Sunday marked on my calendar for awhile. It was going to be the first warm weather Sunday where we had some free time to spend the afternoon as we pleased. Naturally, that meant that we were going to call up some friends, and head out to River Rat.

If you live in Columbia and you haven't been to River Rat yet, you're missing out. This is our favorite brewery in town  {but we're keeping our eye on Hunter Gatherer's new site out at the old Curtis Wright Hangar at Owens Field airport} and going here is easily one of our favorite ways to spend a warm, spring afternoon.

I'd suggest starting out with a flight of beer here if it's your first time.

I suggest:
American Kolsch Story
Bohemian Pilsner
Cream Ale

Patrick would skip all of those and go for:
803 IPA
Double IPA
Helles Bock

& we both suggest going on a day when you can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air, corn hole games, and time with friends.

We also really suggest that you get some of the pimento cheese. It is absolutely amazing.

Does it get much better than this?

Nope. Don't think so.
