A Southern Twenty-Five on Friday!

Anybody else been enjoying these massive thunderstorms over the last couple of days? The one on Wednesday knocked the power out at my company for a little while and the one on Thursday was bad enough to make me stay at work later so I wouldn't be driving straight into it during rush hour traffic.
The one on Thursday also might have cancelled my hill run... so I'm not complaining over here!
Linking up for another Five on Friday with April.

Hey Mother Nature, can you do me a favor? Tonight is Riverbanks' Brew at the Zoo and I would very much appreciate it not storming!
Assuming the weather behaves, we're headed off to the zoo tonight to do a lot of brew sampling! The zoo posted their list of beers and vendors and y'all, I'm more than a little excited about this event.

Columbia is getting a new baseball stadium {yay!} and a new baseball team {double yay!}  next spring. The stadium is already under construction and they just announced the new name of the team this week:
The Columbia Fireflies?! All that name does is make me miss the Capital City Bombers. Now that was a good baseball team name. But the Columbia Fireflies? Sure, ok.

Has anybody watched How to Train Your Dragon?
If you haven't you absolutely need to. I finally got around to watching the 2nd one earlier this week and holy cow, I have not cried over an animated movie since watching the Lion King. The 2nd movie is SO GOOD but SO SAD!
But then I found out that there's going to be a 3rd movie, so that's fun.
And then I found out that it's all based off of a book series. What?! I think I know what series I'll be diving into next!

  6. Stopping by from the link-up! So impressed that you're training in this heat! And, love that you're a Clemson fan--my grandaddy was a professor there so the tigers always have a special place in my heart! Happy Friday!
