A Southern Twenty-Five on Friday!

Y'all, it's like Christmas morning over here. I've been waiting for this weekend since I left Charlotte in May and I am SO excited that it's finally here!

Patrick & I are going back up to Charlotte for the first time since I moved away almost 7 months ago and I cannot wait to get on the road towards North Carolina. As per usual, I have probably over packed our weekend with a million things to do but there's so much I want to squeeze in while we're there.

Engagement pictures. ACC Championship 5K Race. Tailgate. ACC Championship Game. Seeing alllllll of my favorite people.

Linking up for another Five on Friday with April.

You know what you shouldn't do? Plan to go out of town, take engagement pictures, run a 5K, put on an elaborate tailgate, and go to a football game all in one weekend. This week has been out of control with to do lists and packing lists and errands. Holy cow. You should also see how much stuff I have packed for all of these things - I think that I took overpacking to an entirely new limit.

The ACC Championship 5K is one of my very favorite races to do and this will be the 3rd year in a row that I'll be running in it. It has drizzled/been nasty cold at the last two races but fingers crossed that the weather is better this year!

& yes, getting a picture with every mascot for the 3rd year in a row is a must.

Do you know what store absolutely terrifies me to go into by myself?

When it comes to makeup, I find something that I like, and then continue to use the exact same thing on repeat forever & ever. I branched out last year and found some new make up that I liked at Sephora {thanks to Ashley!} so I decided to venture out there Wednesday evening to see if I could find some new eye shadow & lipstick.

So far? I'm a fan.

The Riesling candle from Rewined.

It smells so good!

Clearly, I should have moved away from Charlotte years ago. The first football season after I move away, the Panthers start out the season undefeated at 11-0 and Clemson goes 12-0 to return to Charlotte for the ACC Championship game for the first time since 2011.

I mean, c'mon y'all, it would have been so nice to still be living in Charlotte for all of this but whatever, I'll take it.

I can't wait to cheer on my Tigers in the freeeeezing cold weather to another victory! To be 13-0 {for the first time in school history} & playoff bound after Saturday night's game would be pretty fantastic.

Happy SOLID ORANGE FRIDAY!

  4. I loooove Rewined candles, but I don't think I've tried to Riesling one! Have SO much fun in Charlotte! Those photos with mascots look like so much fun. I also cannot shop at Sephora or Ulta... I need to go online. SO overwhelming haha!

  6. Have fun taking your engagement pictures! I don't think I've ever showed so much PDA in my life than during our engagement pictures. I have the same fear of Sephora and Ulta. There is just so much stuff and I don't feel like I can do any of it justice.
