The Epic Weekend of Winning

What. A. Weekend.

Left Columbia at noon for Charlotte. Arrived in Charlotte & proceeded to hang out with our wedding photographer as she snapped some engagement pictures. Sneak peek: this selfie was part of one of the photos we took.

Woke up super early Saturday morning, threw on my running clothes, and headed uptown with Patrick. I harassed a few ACC Mascots and ran a 5K race. Set a PR {28:49}. Woo!

JACKPOT! Not only did Patrick and I go grab breakfast at Toast in Dilworth, but I also got a Bellini to go with my pancakes.

& then we tailgated.

& caught up with a few of the best {former} coworkers ever.

& we did a little "bogging".

Then... we walked into the stadium {if only it were as easy as this sentence makes it sound} to cheer on Clemson.

Spoiler: CLEMSON WON!

Woke up, drove back to Columbia, and had a "Chesson's Pizza Party" at Mellow Mushroom since we couldn't make it to Clemson for Dabo's.

THEN Patrick suggests that maybe we should spend Sunday afternoon outside since it was so pretty and go to the zoo.

... what. a. weekend.

It was all kinds of awesome and incredibly fun and I loved every single thing about it! Well, other than the line situation going into the stadium but that's another story for another day. In the mean time, I'm going to work on recovering from this weekend before we head down to Kiawah on Friday for Half Marathon Weekend!

See y'all tomorrow!

  3. Girl, the lines at the stadium, I.Just.Can't. They are seriously awful! We have to leave so early for the Panther's game just so we can see all the opening fun, happy to see Clemson won and is still undefeated!
