A Southern Twenty-Five on Friday!

Y'all. Five day weeks are rough. After a bunch of back to back four day weeks this week has gone on foreverrrrr {and then some}. Thank goodness it's Friday!

I'm hanging out again this week with April, Darci, Natasha, and Christina.

It's been nearly two years since I've had a lake weekend out at Lake Murray and I am pumped about heading there this weekend {and next!} Patrick has located my life jacket, I've picked up food from the store & farmer's market, my bathing suit is packed, & I'm ready to go.

{two}
I haven't seen this girl since November :(

We've spent the last few months catching up via text messages, phone conversations, and snail mail which is great and all but I'm ready for some actual face to face catching up time this weekend!

{three}
Meet the Little G's.

Found these guys hanging out in the backyard last weekend. They're kind of cute! Needless to say, I will not be attempting to go into the backyard any time soon. I saw what happened the last time something threatened the Little G's and I have no intention of facing the wrath of the big gator in the lagoon.

Disclaimer for all of those who think I'm crazy: all gator pictures are taken from the safety of the deck or from inside the kitchen through the window. I'm really starting to appreciate the zoom feature. I've also started dreaming about gators. Anyone surprised?? Ha!

This pizza from Thirsty Fellow in Columbia.

Chicken, bacon, green bell pepper, and roasted garlic. YUM.

That's all y'all. She's officially done teaching! After 39 years it's off to Kiawah for lots of biking & gator watchin' :)
