Grillin' it Up: Burgers

Everyone has that one food that they crave when they go home and visit their parents. For me, it's not just one food, it's one particular way to cook food that I crave: grilled.

I don't have easy access to a grill during the week and by the time the weekend rolls around, all I want is something off the grill. I don't care if it's chicken or steak or kabobs or whatever, I just want grilled food!

These burgers just happen to be one of my favorite foods off of the grill and now that it is officially summer time, it's time to fire it up & get cooking! This recipe comes from my dad's repertoire of excellent dishes... I refused to eat burgers anywhere else {restaurant or someone's house} for the longest time because I would only eat these particular burgers.

Burgers
{I feel like I need to have some super fancy name for these burgers but um, I don't, sorry!}

Ingredients
1.5 lbs ground round
Garlic Powder
Lawry's Seasoning Salt
 2 tsp Mustard
2 tsp Worchestershire Sauce

Directions
1. Place ground round in a big mixing bowl. Season with garlic powder and Lawry's seasoning salt.
2. Add two teaspoon eachs of the mustard and Worchestershire sauce.
3. Mix everything up by hand and let it marinate for a few minutes, then create the hamburger patties.
4. Grill 'em up
5. Add your favorite toppings {like pimento cheese!} and enjoy :)

My dad and I made these for my mom for Mother's Day this year and we served it with fresh grilled corn on the cob & french fries. I topped my burger with lots of pimento cheese because honestly, there's no other way to eat a burger.

**I've made these burgers late on a Friday night before, stored them in a cooler, and cooked them the next afternoon at a tailgate. Still perfectly delicious**
