Because It's March

Anyone want to tell me where in the world February went?

It passed by in such a blur. It went by so quickly that there really wasn't any time to do any sort of blogging. Although, you can probably blame that on Netflix, too {I'm looking at you, Friends & Parenthood!}

There was a trip to Kiawah, a visit from my mom, some quick drives to and from Columbia, lots of working, a smidge of running, a not-so-fun 24 hour bug, a long overdue Valentine's Day celebration, and some funfetti cupcakes.

But now it's March and I've been waiting {impatiently} for this month for a little while.

It means warmer weather. It was 70 degrees and sunny yesterday afternoon. I was able to have the porch door wide open while watching Clemson play a little ball against USC.

It means that daylight savings time starts this weekend! I'm totally ok with losing an hour of sleep if it means that I have more sunlight hours after work.

In two and a half weeks, I have a little mini vacation down to the low country for some biking out on Kiawah, time with my family, and a wedding celebration.

We're another month closer to summertime and all my favorite things that happen in the summer... like Kiawah & Lake Murray.

It means it's almost Easter & we all know how much I love Easter.

Oh! & Farmer's Markets! Cannot wait until my favorite one in Charlotte opens up in a little over a month so I can get back to delicious grilled veggies.

Can't forget about the Charlotte Knights' games either!

Ok. I might be a little excited about the fact that it's March.

Just a little.

  6. The post makes me wish for spring so badly! They finished the baseball field in downtown Charlotte right after I moved away and I still need to come up for a game. It looks so fun!
