{Guest Blog}: All Things Richmond

Things to be excited about today: it's officially my birthday weekend, there are only 50 more days until Clemson football, I still have four full days of vacation left before I head back to work next Tuesday, and Caroline is guest blogging today!

Hey y'all! I'm Caroline and I blog over at Virginia Sweet. Chesson was such a dear to guest blog for me not too long ago and I am super excited to be returning the favor!

First thing's first.

Let me tell y'all all the ways I know and love our fav southern twenty-fiver.

1. Chesson and my husband went to college together

2. Ashley, my partner in crime, and Chesson are sweet friends from way back

3. We see Chesson at every Clemson football game we attend.

4. Chesson is a die hard Clemson fan (duh) and I appreciate her dedication to southern college football

A little about me.

I am a wife to a pretty great guy named Reid, mother to two adorable pups, and lover of all things southern. We love and live in Richmond, Va and just have the best time.

There are so many fun things to do in Richmond and below are just a couple of the reasons why I love this historic river city.

Dining out.

Richmond has the best restaurant scene. I swear, we could try a new, non-chain, Richmond restaurant everyday for a year and never have to repeat.

Some of my personal favs are Stellas, The Daily and Mekong.

Home of the Tacky Light Tour.

This tour is pretty famous in the RVA. Our good friends actually live right behind Mr. Christmas and the glow from his 4 miles of lights can be seen from far and wide! It is such a sight to see.

Festivals, Farmer's Markets, Breweries and More.

There is always something going on in Richmond. South of the James farmer's market is one of our favorite Saturday activities. It is such a great chance to get our youngest pup out and about, plus the food is amazing!

The Amazing Westhampton Bakery Donut.

There are no words. This donut is pretty much the most amazing thing I have ever eaten and if I am a good girl, Reid will pick up a couple on his way back from the gym on Saturday mornings!

These are just a few fun, delicious and silly reasons why I love to call Richmond home.

Make sure to followVirginia Sweet along so you can keep up with all my crazy adventures!

Have a wonderful weekend loves,

CAD
