Five on Friday

We're over halfway through September. Does this mean that I can start busting out the pumpkins and pumpkin scented things around our house?

Too late. I've been burning pumpkin/apple scented candles for weeks and I scooped up a couple of pumpkins last week to put out around the house.

Checking in for another Five on Friday, let's get to it!

I'm still over here living vicariously through everyone we know that's currently traipsing around Scotland and Ireland.

Ireland was already on my bucket list but now I'm more anxious than ever to get over there for myself to do some exploring. Safe travels to all of our family and friends as they make their way back to the US this weekend!

Seriously though, I'm officially planning a trip to Ireland now just for views like this:

My friend Hannah and I got to see Maroon 5 in concert together for the second time this past weekend and y'all, they do not disappoint. They are so good live! & if you're a Maroon 5 fan, you haven't truly lived until you've heard/seen Adam Levine perform the acoustic version of She Will Be Loved live.

Life. Changing.

Hey Columbia friends, I hope that you have the Greek Festival on your calendar for this weekend.

I went to check it out last night with Patrick and our friend Zander and y'all definitely need to go. There's a ton of amazing Greek food and so much to see and do while you're there. There's a good chance that we'll be headed back there later this weekend.

Or we could be checking out the next Bierkeller pop up event: the Bierkeller Oktoberfest happening at Guignard Brick Works in Cayce.

So many local things going on this weekend to enjoy, especially if you're also partaking in the Soda City Market and USC's first home game of the season.

Happy {early} birthday to my brother Benjamin!

I think that one of my very favorite parts of our entire wedding was seeing him in a polka dot bowtie. If you know my brother at all, you know that he does not do suits or polka dots or bowties or anything of that nature. He was so 100% out of his element and I absolutely loved every second of it.

Happy Friday! Enjoy your weekend!
