Not only is it Friday, but it's my last day of work before a week of vacation. Yes! I'm am so beyond ready for:
9 days of no work
my brother to get here
a couple days in Kiawah
Christmas cookies
Lights at the Zoo
Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve service at church
Christmas
day after Christmas shopping
family time in Charlotte

This dress.

I just need to find a reason to own this dress...

{three}

Have I mentioned Lights at the Zoo yet? I love Lights at the Zoo. See?
Yes, I am fully aware that I act like a small child when I'm at Lights at the Zoo. Whatever. I cannot wait to go next week!

{four}

I've convinced my family to spend some time in Charlotte this year. But... now I have to figure out what to do. Beyond a Panthers Stadium Tour & checking out a couple of breweries in South End... I have no idea! Any suggestions??

{five}

FIVE days until Christmas!!!!!! Yes!
& it's totally legit to just now be sending out Christmas cards, right? Right.

Happy Friday!

  2. You know, my grandmother always says "buy a dress when you love it, not when you need it. If you wait until you need it, you will end up with something you don't like". Just saying... ;)

    Cute blog, I'll def be back!

  5. I love your collections of pictures at the Zoo. How fun!

    For ideas:
    ~Mint Museum or Bechtler in Uptown with lunch at Halcyon
    ~Drive through the neighborhood near Southpark. Those mansions are always so decked out! Also, shopping at Southpark is always fun.
    ~Breweries in NoDa are awesome, too!
    ~Hiking Crowder's
    ~Antiquing at Sleepy Poet

    Lots of options!

    -Shopping at Southpark
    -Any of the Levine Museum's!
